KUFA, Iraq – Radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr (search) denounced the U.S. abuse of Iraqi detainees at Abu Ghraib (search) prison, dismissing an apology by President Bush and demanding Friday that the American soldiers charged with abuse be tried in Iraqi courts.
