Yawn.

Yawn, yawn, yawn.  Snore.

Representatives of China and South Korea condemned Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit to a shrine honoring Japan’s war dead Thursday, while the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo said it was “disappointed” in the leader’s action.

You know, if I were PM Abe, I’d tell them all to go straight to hell, and in so many words.

If Japan was going nationalist, arming to the teeth, and had a military dictator like it did during the run-up to the Second World War, I’d be less charitable.  At this point the bitching and moaning is a reflex action.

Besides, they’re Japanese.  They’re mostly doing it to piss the gaijin off.  The best way to handle this is to ignore it.  Trust them not to go all militaristic and expansionist again.  But be very careful to verify.
