I’m sorry the guy got shot

but this right here just points up why you don’t answer a home invasion with anything less than lethal force.  And by the way, this is just journalism at its finest:

The homeowner reported to police that two busted through his door, claiming to have a warrant.  The man then stated he sprayed the suspects with pepper spray, before they shot him in the leg and fled the scene.

Funny, I was not aware that “busted” had made it into actual journalistic English.

And this is fun:

Investigators served a search warrant at the home and removed a few small bags.

Uh….sounds like the victim was not so innocent hisself (I can use that word, Channel 59 seems to think “busted” is OK, so why not?).
