A very old and dear friend of mine, who has recently had trials and tribulations due to Stage 1 stomach cancer — not the least of which was a sudden spate of vertigo and nausea that was only arrested after a week of tests and seemingly every drug in the pharmacopeia — received last night in Chicago the 33rd and Last Degree, Sovereign Grand Inspector General (Honorary) at the meeting of the Supreme Council, 33rd Degree, AASR Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
Congratulations to Illustrious Brother Chris Hodapp. Your contributions to Masonry far outweigh anything I’ve ever done for the Fraternity. And at long last, you are a Mason with honor in your own country — er, state 🙂
I should also note that Chris is running for City-County Council District 5 on the Libertarian ticket. If you live up there, you should vote for him.
