Haven’t taken many pictures lately, but there is this article at the New York Post that my wife sent me this morning.
It’s not easy learning to dog-paddle when you’re a cat.
Here’s 6-year-old Nazzaning, partially paralyzed by a spinal-cord injury, learning to walk again with the help of aquatic therapy at Water 4 Dogs, an animal-rehabilitation center on Worth Street in TriBeCa.
The cat is a Turkish Van, like our late Snoopy.
Since most cats have a maniacal aversion to H2O, there was doubt that Nazzaning would willingly take the plunge.
Er. Not bloody likely. She’s a Van. They love water. They’re called “the swimming cats”:
Unusual for cat breeds, Turkish Vans love to play in the water and will join you in the tub for a dip or help you in the sink and are known as “the swimming cat.”
But anyway, it’s a cute story and the cat is lovely. Unfortunately it appears that the video link is broken. Ah, here it is on YouTube.
And if you need more cute:
Link needs fixed 😉
That http:// thing makes all the difference in the world…Thanks 🙂
