HR 1, the bill whose passage was felt by our great-grandchildren not yet born, got a vote from none other than our own Seventh District Socialist, Andre (The Kid) Carson. Grandma must be proud, looking on from her perch in Hell.
Sadly, he was not one of the 11 brave Democrats who stood up to the Ascended One and voted against the bill (along with every Republican in the House, for the provision of backbones to whom let us all be truly thankful, amen.).
So let’s remember that when The Kid is up for re-election in 2010. And maybe give Gabrielle Campo a few more votes this time around, eh?
