gets a “C”. I was out yesterday on main roads that still have not been completely cleared of snow (in fact, one road that I would have been expected to be clean looked like it had barely been touched with a plow; it was two wide ruts in each lane with six inches of snow in between the ruts).
Also, I saw two city plows driving on half-cleared roads yesterday with their blades up and their salt spreaders not operating.
I think Bart’s “all roads clear by Saturday” promise means “you’ll be able to drive on them but we’re going to let Mr. Sun do the finish work next week”. And for that, Bart gets a C.
And I still won’t vote for him in November, even if our street was one of the first to get plowed (a totally unexpected event — we never see plows until at least the second or third day). The main roads are still shite and they shouldn’t be.
