Why, oh why, can't Comcast run a working Internet service? They did so well for so long here.
Today, service keeps dropping intermittently and their DNS servers have been inconsistent for two days. I can't do much about the former, but I've switched to Google's public DNS services at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4, and suddenly sites that I couldn't reach for two days are now reachable.
Sad thing is, even if we could get UVerse here, it would be slower and worse, and just as hard to get tech support. But it would sure be nice to have it as a backup.
I want to know why in hell I can't get Smithville Internet up here, damn it! I know their Executive Vice President, isn't that enough? :)
