I just trimmed my beard for the first time in about six weeks. I was starting to get those, "Is he or isn't he?" looks again, and it was getting pretty durn bushy and pretty much to the point where it drives me crazy.
I also just cut my grass (albeit with the lawn tractor since walking behind a mower is contraindicated for my knees and ankles these days) and even given the rain and the phenomenal growth it's had since temperatures moderated, I think I still had more trouble trimming the beard with an electric trimmer than I did the lawn with 12HP and dual blades.
The only thing I can figure is that my beard has been reading Game of Thrones, Fallen Angels, and The Last Centurion, and looking at long-term forecasts, just like I have.
Winter is coming.
