Fat man in mid-fifties has no fucking excuse for climbing around on the roof fucking around with antennae.
I told her that I would not be getting back up there till I've lost at least 50 pounds.
But I did replace my horizontally-polarized 6M loop with a vertically-polarized 6M ground plane and my signal into the repeaters is MUCH better now. Not to mention the SWR being within a reasonable range. So it was a win. Sort of.
Jeebus, do I need a nap. And a bourbon I think.
