There were progressives in Biblical times?

Joanna's Bible Verse of the Day widget popped up Psalm 14:1 today.

The fool says in his heart,
    "There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
    there is no one who does good.

Appropriate in this season of miracles...and this age of abject lack of faith and belief at the highest levels of our public life.
