WSJ defines "arsenal", "cache of guns"

Newtown Killer Lived With Cache of Guns

This was also blurbed as "Arsenal Found In Newtown Gunman's Home".

Wow.  So how many guns constitutes an arsenal?

Police seized two rifles, several knives and three samurai-style swords, according to search warrants and affidavits released Thursday morning. Also taken from the Newtown home, which Mr. Lanza, 20 years old, shared with his mother, were three videogame consoles, hard drives and other computer parts.

Er.  And the rifles were?

Authorities also seized a bolt-action rifle, a .22-caliber rifle, a Marksman BB gun and a .22-caliber starter pistol, along with nine knives of varying sizes, and a nearly 7-foot-long pole with a blade on one end and a spear tip on the other.

Um. And he had how much ammunition, officers?

Inside the home, according to the documents, police found more than 1,600 ammunition rounds for shotguns

Really.

So in other words, he didn't have any ammo for the rifles, right?  How about the BB gun?  You could put your eye out with that, you know.

What a poorly-written, sensationalized article.  The WSJ ought to be ashamed of itself for letting something like that see the light of day.
