I was pretty much mostly done with it anyway, but this morning when I took a look at it, almost every new post since last night was a "suggested" or "sponsored" post.
Every day for over 18 years I have been part of a team that actively fights spam while trying to facilitate online communication. The spam on Facebook at this point is simply overkill, and other than to log in to handle social networking pages for groups I belong to, Facebook has lost me.
I realize they need to make money somehow, but they're not going to make it from me.
[EDIT TO ADD:] I think Facebook is one of the reasons this blog has gone all to hell; it's been too easy to make pithy comments backed up with a link or a picture than to actually, you know, write. IMHO Facebook is a dangerous drug and ought to be regulated by the FDA.
