Down 10.3 pounds in 4 weeks. I'm only 1.7 pounds away from reaching my first 5% goal.
The remaining 90 pounds doesn't seem so hard now...(but it will as time goes by. I've done this before :) )
And I'd like to reiterate that I'm doing this because I want to, not because some government lackey is making me. I chose. Not Nurse Bloomberg or some 4th-rate president's wife.
Besides, who the hell wants to be fat, diabetic, and have heart trouble under the new healthcare regime that's coming down the pike? Not me.
Good for you
Dieting is a mental battle.
I lost 55 pounds a few years ago. I have gained about 10 back. But I am working on those pounds!
I'm going to eat, drink, and be merry in Reston this week. Then it's back to the salt mines for me. Diet and lots of exercise will be the regimen I use to take off the twenty-five I've gained back after losing thirty in 2011.
I'd sure like to know why Google sign-in shows non-working URLs instead of your handles :) I think the first one is Joe and the second is Jim. Pretty sure the second one is Jim since we're going to Reston together on Wednesday :)
I'm going to try to stick to program as much as possible this week, but since I'll be running around a lot more than I usually do at this desk job, I'll probably have to eat more. I was thinking about running up to Herndon on Saturday morning to weigh in at a meeting, but will probably give that a miss...
yes the firs tone was me -- Joe.
the whole sign-in process to comment is a bit unwieldy on MT
