The Marion County prosecutor's office has filed criminal charges against three people believed to have been responsible for the massive house explosion on Nov. 10 that killed an Indianapolis couple and decimated their southside neighborhood.
Prosecutor Terry Curry announced Friday that homeowner Monserrate Shirley, her boyfriend, Mark Leonard, and his brother, Bob Leonard Jr., were arrested and taken into custody that morning in connection with multiple charges related to the explosion that damaged 90 homes in the Richmond Hill subdivision.
I find it interesting that these names weren't out there pretty much from the start. And that it took this long to file charges.
Hopefully these folks will spend a long time in prison.
