So I'm online renewing my driver's license, and one of the "legal and health" questions you have to answer is
Has any personal information changed from any source document that you previously submitted to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles?
Unfortunately there was just "Yes" and "No" for possible answers, and no ability to click a button that said "How the fuck should I know, that was at least five fucking years ago, dipshits!"
If you hear the sirens and see the red lights over here, you'll know I must have committed a misdefelanor or a felomisdenor by answering "No."
The BMV pushes hard to have you renew on line. What they do not tell you is that if you have a restriction (ie. glasses) you cannot renew on-line until you are through with the damn application. You have to go down to the branch anyway. That is information that would have been useful before I wasted 15 minuets of my life.
Are you sure? I have restriction A (glasses or contacts), and I had no trouble. If you go to http://www.in.gov/bmv/3017.htm which is the front page for renewing your operator's license, it tells you clearly which restrictions mean you can't renew online.
Maybe they've changed it since you renewed. But both my wife (also restriction A) and I have been renewing online for years.
Also it seems like every other renewal they make you go in and get your picture taken. But with the five year license that means 10 years between pictures...
the ymight have changed it since I had to do it
Wow that was fast. It came today.
But man is it a lousy print job.
