Make him feel it. Because just shooting him dead wouldn't be satisfying enough. (No, no sarcasm here. The only difference is that I'd have beaten him within an inch of his life and then strung him up to die the slow way.)

I'd have some remorse. I'd be incredibly sorry I didn't make his suffering last a lot longer.
