For whatever it's worth

Since I didn't make the blogmeet Sunday:

1) Happy blogoversary Tam!
2) I didn't make it because I felt like hell. Friday night I had, hmm, an "incident" involving things that Og would normally discuss in a more graphic manner. In any case, when the "incident" was pretty much over, something went "poing" and I suddenly had a pounding headache that reminded me of the three times in my life that I've let a migraine get out of control. (The first three times I had one -- before I knew what to do about it.) So from then until now I've had a residual headache that has been at times fairly bad and at other times just sort of there in the background.

The only way I can adequately describe the "poing" and the pounding is to compare it to water hammer. It's like something was blocking blood flow and suddenly the block went away and I got overpressure waves in my bloodstream. Given that I had a fairly severe cramp before that I suspect that's exactly what happened. (OTOH my blood pressure then and now has been perfectly normal.)

But anyway. TMI and that's why I missed the blogmeet. I hope to see everybody at the next one.
