Please tell me I never have to install OpenSolaris 10 on an AMD64 workstation system again.
I have an Ubuntu Linux server which is basically made from leftover parts. The next time I upgrade it with new disk drives, I was thinking about installing Open Solaris instead.
Based on your comment, I guess I'll stick with Ubuntu.

If you've got old hardware, avoid OpenSolaris 10 like the plague.
But even that said, all the crap you have to do post-installation to make the thing usable shouldn't be required of a dog.
Love me some Windows. It just works.
