Joanna is apparently going to try to defy the laws of physics by trying to make the inside of her Ford Focus larger than the outside. Paging the Doctor...(Who?)
I remember those days. Except in my day it was a Volkswagen Type III "stationvagen", a deceptively tiny vehicle that turned out to be so roomy inside (for stuff, not people), my crowd dubbed it the International Standard Sh*tload.
Ever afterward, when one of us asked how much stuff we were talking about moving, and somebody said, oh, a sh*tload, we all knew EXACTLY how much stuff had to be moved.
Fun times. Glad they're over. I'm getting far too old to push-start a Volkswagen on flat ground by myself. Which was about every third time I drove it. Really too bad that thing didn't have an optional pull-starter like the old Corvairs did.
You just named my car. I owe you one. :-D
