Picked up one of these last night on clearance for $20 off, plus we had a 20% off coupon. Not telling you where, I may want another one.

This is the best damn coffee maker ever. My problem with making a big pot of coffee is that I forget to drink it after the first cup. And I really dislike reheated coffee. And I'd really prefer to drink coffee to diet soda that is becoming more and more expensive.
We had the commercial version of this thing at the office in Maryland. Loved it there, too. That thing had a dedicated water hookup and an internal mechanism that pulled the little K-cups out and dumped them into a trash hopper. Unfortunately that machine bit the big one several years ago and the only alternative since has been the espresso machine the boss bought on one of his extended visits to the States. Damn it.
Other plusses are it makes tea and cocoa as well, not to mention chai latte. This last makes the lady wife very happy.
And of course I bought the device that lets you use your own coffee. Tim Horton's Fine Grind if you must know.
The only real minus is that it won't accommodate big cups. But you can always brew in a small cup and transfer to a larger one.
I know you are all jealous now. Except maybe Joanna :)
I'm jealous, but only because I'm a sucker for kitchen gadgets. If I could have one of everything, I'd be happy ...
We had to sharply cut back on our quest for kitchen gadgets even after moving into the house from the condo. There just isn't enough counter space in our eat-in kitchen...
I had a Keurig with the gold filter in my last life.
I've had this Mr Coffee http://tiny.cc/JHHtN for going on four years now and I love the damn thing, even though most of the Amazon reviewers hate it.
We have a very nice Bunn that I just cleaned up and put away in the pantry.
It's too big and it forces me to make a full pot every time. For reasons already assigned, that doesn't work for me...
My wife received the Bunn as a shower present and was told by my "aunts" who gave it to her that now she could make coffee for her father-in-law whenever he visited. (Dad would drink a pot of coffee at one sitting, so using the teakettle and my Melita for that was right out.) Sadly he died in 2002 and never really got to benefit from that.
