I can't agree.
The last couple of years have sucked politically, of course. And Dad died in 2002, Cousin Max died in ought-six. I don't expect the economy to come roaring back until we shit-can the Democrats in November, and Obama in 2012.
But I got married in 2000. I have a decent job in which I've received two decent raises during that time. We've got a house, two cars, two cats, and we are able to travel a little.
I became a Freemason in 1999 and apparently am thought well enough of by the organization that I've ascended to several positions of responsibility. Simultaneously. (Need to talk to someone about that one of these days.)
I've recently met some bloggers who are really first-rate human beings.
So I can't really complain about the last 10 years. Except for the fucking Demoncraps, who want to take it all away from me.
One day I'll have to get you to explain that whole Freemason thingy to me.
Cause, I'm a mason, and free, but I'm fairly certain we're talking about two different critters.
