waiting for Comcast (the Devil) to show up and rerig things so we have digital cable for the new TV.
The service window was 8 to 10.
It's 9:30 and still no call (and I suspect they won't call till they're in the driveway).
Typical Comcrapstic service. Too bad AT&T won't get off their ass and light that VRAD right down the street.
UPDATE, 9:35AM: And no sooner do I blog, than I get a phone call from the tech apologizing because he's running late, letting me know he'll call in about 30 minutes or so when he's done with the job he's on, and that we get the $20 credit for being outside the service window.
Maybe Comcast has been listening to me bitch all these years. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised.
UPDATE, 12:18PM: All done. Very professional, very friendly tech. Very happy customer.
It's Comcastic! :)

You know, I have Comcast here and I can't -- as much as I want and was prepared to -- be the least bit critical of them. I've found the service to be nearly flawless, when there have been problems the techs have been prompt and friendly. A couple of weeks ago they sent me an unsolicited letter informing me that they'd lowered my bill.
Of course, now they own NBC, and, by extension, MSNBC, so that's something of a black mark against them.
