Would the City of Indianapolis KINDLY get off its collective ass and redeck the bridge at Grandview and Fox Hill?
The patches have patches on their patches.
Another project that's needed done for at least 20 years.
Oh, and for God's sake, would you install a hard shoulder on Grandview from Kessler to Michigan Road? So that the asshole bunched-up mass cyclists can ride on the shoulder and get the FUCK out of the way of the drivers on the road? (And also so you don't feel like you're going to slide off the road into the ditch even when it's warm and dry?) And during the summer, would you PLEASE station IMPD at 56th and Grandview at around 6:00 PM and start handing out citations to the cyclists for a) bunching up instead of riding single file, and b) running, which is not to say blowing through, the 3-way stop at 56th and Grandview?
Kthxbye.

I'm a cyclist who hates cyclists who don't follow basic traffic rules. I stop at every stop sign and stay off the roads whenever possible precisely because I don't want to get in the way. Also, in my mom's words, "there are a lot of tired ninnies out there." I had to ride on 146th St. once (not by choice), and I was sure I was going to get smeared. It's a two-lane road! Move! Over!
Yeah, I wrote that knowing I have many cycling friends :) , but my cycling friends wouldn't do what the assclowns in question do every Wednesday night on my way downtown, from about the time it gets warm in the spring till it gets cold again in the fall.
