Burglars Confront Security, Take Laptops & iPhonesSeptember 2nd, 2009
For the second time in four months, burglars broke the front window at the Sagemore (NJ) retail store to steal products, but this time confronted a security guard inside the store and threatened that they had a gun. The five men struck at 2 a.m., police say, again using a large rock to break the window. Because of the earlier burglary, an unarmed security guard was on-duty inside the store. However, the guard didn’t intervene when one of the men motioned that he had a gun. Within 31 seconds, the men took 23 laptops, 14 iPhones and iPod touches, then fled into a nearby residential area. A similar burglary on March 10th netted burglars eight laptops and eight iPhones worth about $16,000.
Let me get this straight.

Nice job guarding the place.
