Oh, cool! I downloaded the upgrade about a month ago but just haven't installed it yet. Was it painless? I've been told I should make backups before I do it, but JESUS, how can I do that in less than an hour? I know there's a way but I'm too lazy to find it.
Anyway, I want that search function!
Actually I made backups but it took five minutes to replace the files. Not difficult at all and no problems. I just did a full rebuild and voila.
(I did have to explicitly insert the "SEARCH THIS SITE" link into my main index template. It wasn't put there by the rebuild.)
One annoying bit about the search function: It doesn't search the comments, just the main blog text.
Ah, cool. I was wondering if it would just stick the search function in there. I will remember to manually do it. It sucks that it doesn't search comments! I wonder if that will be part of their next upgrade.
I suppose I should make backups anyway. Cool. I'm excited to get it done this weekend. Woo-hoo!
