Rangel Calls for Rumsfeld Resignation
Referring to a memo leaked last month in which Rumsfeld asked his four top aides several ponderous questions about gauging the success in the war on terror, Rep. Charles Rangel of New York said Rumsfeld doesn’t have the strategy for getting U.S. troops out of Iraq nor a clue whether efforts in Iraq have been successful or not.
Yeah, Charlie, and if it had been up to you, Saddam would still be terrorizing Iraq.
One Man’s Vote calls for your resignation based on your clear lack of compassion and intelligence. Y’all are grasping at straws at this point.
And what about that memo that leaked the other day from one of your guys? Any call for Sen. Rockefeller to resign yet, Charlie? Do you have the courage of your convictions (not to say that you have been convicted, of course) to insist that this door swing both ways?
Thought not. You’re just trying to shift the glare of publicity, at this point. Good luck. The American people aren’t stupid, you know.
