MERIDIAN, Miss. Doug Williams (search) sat in a meeting with managers at his factory job, listening to them explain the importance of being honest and responsible in the workplace. Also on the agenda: getting along with co-workers, regardless of their sex or race.
But at some point during the meeting Williams had heard enough.
He walked out of the room, telling co-workers, “Y’all can handle this.”
And then he killed five people and himself.
We are truly idiots in this country. These things happen because we don’t expect them to happen, because we have counselling for everything that’s supposed to keep things like this from happening.
This lefty feel-good shit doesn’t work. The fucker should have been tough-loved, and more toughed than loved, and told if he didn’t shape up, he was outa there. And then armed guards should have frog-marched his ass off the property and been on the alert in case he came back.
And that bunch of kids in NJ who were plotting to shoot up their school ought to be publicly executed in the town square. Talk about sending a message.
