A progressive, Christian friend opined today on how sad it is that the news media are ignoring the Pakistan Easter bombing. Specifically he singled out CNN. Oh so sad that we’re still talking about Brussels (last week) and Paris (a year ago) but nobody can find the time to report on the poor benighted Paki Christians.
I came very close to pointing out that it’s all over the conservative websites as well as fairly prominently placed on Fox News’s website this morning. And then decided it wasn’t worth the pain and angst.
Any Christian who is a progressive is a fool. I’d say the same about Jews, but there’s only so many times you can say that before you get frustrated.
I liked the suggestion I saw somewhere, probably in comments on Instapundit, that you just know someone is thinking, “Mecca. During the Hajj. Target-rich environment.”
