Oh, man.

James Taranto (Best of the Web) is always good, but the first crack out of the box today at BOTW will make you snort coke up your nose (the carmel-colored variety, and out rather than in, so cover your keyboard first).
Briefly, Slate’s daily “Bushism of the day” isn’t even a Bushism. If you look at the transcript, it was said by…get this…Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
Sad that the Left can’t even get its quotes straight.

  1. This is off topic but I noticed in your ‘indicia’ that you’re a Freemason. I don’t see too many tout that. Interesting.
–Side Note: I’m a former member of DeMolay and have more Masonic related people in my family than I care to think about. I’m dating a member of the local Eastern Star (she’s only 1 year older than I.. don’t jump to conclusions there..).
Just found it interesting as I don’t see that very often online. Usually I just see anti-Mason nonsense.

  2. Master of one lodge, Secretary of another.
I’m hardly embarrassed to point up a fraternal bond with George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, et al. 🙂 Anti-Masonry in the US perversely fascinates me because it’s a complete non-sequiter given the history of our country’s founding. I can’t imagine how a person can wrap oneself in the flag and call oneself an anti-Mason. The two just don’t go together.
Oh well. I can’t imagine how an American Nazi Party can exist, either.

Well, let’s see, that would have to make you 83. 🙂
(For disclosure purposes, I’m Worthy Patron of my Chapter, (and Master of the Lodge Nathan’s Secretary of) and I’m 38.)
