Up yours, demoncraps.

One of the wifey’s visitors over the last two weeks was a very nice lady who brought us very tasty food.  Unfortunately she is also an Obama drone.

The news happened to be on while she was here and she started off on how the government needed to get on with it and fix the shutdown, and how if “Boehner” would just take a vote…

I said, “That’s all he’s been doing since the start.  The House has voted multiple times on things that would have started the government back up.  It’s not ‘Boehner’s’ fault, it’s the intransigent Senate and intransigent President who are holding us all for ransom.”

Oh, that wasn’t possible.  It was all “Boehner’s” fault.

Now I yield to none in my contempt for the current Speaker of the House, and for the House in general, as well as for the Senate and the President.  But you can listen to the MSM all day and still not know that the House has voted 11 times to end the shutdown.

So, up yours, demoncraps.  The ball is in your court.  Or maybe it would be simpler to just trim the government back.  I dunno.  I don’t miss the government at all, myself* — and as long as the pension and Social Security checks** keep coming to my mother, it could stay shut down for the rest of time.

LATER:  Well, of course the spineless bastard caved this morning.  Fsck me.

** That I’m paying for.  The Social Security Trust Fund is a myth.  Or a bad joke.  Or both.
