I see on the front page of the fishwarp’s sports page today that NFL referees are whinging about being locked out. And the subhead says
They try to stay sharp, pick apart replacements’ calls
Now wait just a dadblamed minute.
I thought referees always claimed that TV viewers couldn’t possibly fault their calls, because of TV angles and “you weren’t there”.
I’m not saying that the replacement refs aren’t inexperienced in the ways of the NFL. But you guys need to shut the fuck up and enjoy the game. Since that’s what you always tell us.
