This clown is so far into the Apple fanboi drugs that he can’t do anything but dis the TouchPad.
I like mine. It’s useful. Yeah, doesn’t have a lot of apps, but it surfs, gets email, reads docs (and will be able to edit them soon, from what a more WebOS-hooked-in friend tells me) and actually looks more bulletproof than the iPad.
And hell, it might be able to run Android soon. In which case I’ll have a very nice 32GB Honeycomb platform for $150.
HP majorly fucked up by not letting them go at cost and making their money on it by taking a percentage of apps, or even by developing meaningful software for the device. Trying to price it like an iPad without the infrastructure behind it was insane. But at this point it is anything but a dead horse, and the online journal that printed the above-linked article knows it — because comments are closed. And interestingly, there’s no link to contact the author by email, either.
No ability to backtalk == author is full of shit. Frankly I hate giving him a link, but I’m not going to steal his content just to make a point. (I should note that I never heard of the publication before and I doubt I’ll ever read it again.)

I’m always amused by the people who won’t allow comments. “My word is law. You may not discuss”.
Automatic bullshit alarm.
I can understand Instapundit not allowing comments…shit, with his daily volume and the level of potential controversy he generates even without them, he’d get more comments than Heinz has pickles.
But some little no-account e-journal with writers I’ve never heard of…nah.
Wonder how he feels now that God, er Jobs, is retiring?
I see how the stock price reacted. It lost almost 6 points at open and has hunted up and down ever since; now down 8 according to Yahoo. And the overall market is down nearly a hundred.
yeah, a big site, I get. But these little pissants….
I don’t begrudge Jobs anything, but Apple as theology is as ignorant as Environmentalism as theology.
