Voter #114 at 9:00AM in the 28th precinct, Washington Township. Only three people in front of me. And, wonder of wonders! A Republican clerk, the first one I’ve seen in the precinct in years.
Bonus: Five years after she moved out of the precinct, my mother is still registered to vote here. Great job you’re doing in the clerk’s office, Beth White. You worthless bitch.
(At least Doris Ann Sadler was easy on the eyes.)

I’ve done the absentee ballot for a while as I never know when I’ll be home. Best friend said the turnout in our little area was the largest she’d seen.
Peggy Noonan’s comment on President Obama’s Wednesday press conference: “Viewers would have found it disappointing if there had been any viewers.” She continues: “The president is speaking, in effect, to an empty room. From my notes five minutes in: ‘This wet blanket, this occupier of the least interesting corner of the faculty lounge, this joy-free zone, this inert gas.’”
