I can’t drink for 10 days.
Yes, that’s right. I’m on an antibiotic (for an apparent case of sigmoid diverticulitis which just reared its ugly head during the last week — so all of you who think I’m full of shit were right for a few days) that says “DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL WHILE ON THIS MEDICATION.”
So I guess the single malt is going to be lonely for awhile.

Boy, that sucks for you. Thank goodness I am in a position to help. I am just the man to take up the slack — from now on I am drinking for two! You did say for a month right? I better drink heavily for two months just to be safe…
