The Indy Undercover blog is really digging into the meat of the matter of the Brizzi-Kennedy prosecutor race.
Don’t know if you’ve seen the ad yet, but Democrat Melina Kennedy has one with her in a courtroom and attacking Carl Brizzi’s record. First of all, she probably spent more time in the courtroom filming the commercial than she did all of her legal career. On top of it, Indyu asked its lawyer friends if that courtroom was actually in Marion County? Turns out it was, in federal court. Anyone know if she’s ever been there?
Indyu also knows she asked a question at the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce’s Hobnob if the people of Marion County were safer than they were four years ago? Is she on crack? Four years ago we didn’t have 107 homicides. Four years ago we didn’t have record crime. But we did have her and the Peterson administration that promised 200 cops that never showed and later cut the prosecutor’s budget and threatened to layoff police officers.
So before she points a finger at someone, Indyu recommends she stand in front of a mirror. Which by the way, Ms. Indyu noticed she finally put on some make up, although not enough to mask the inexpierience.
By the way, Marion County Democrats put out a news release today attacking Brizzi for holding a fundraiser at Landsharks in Broadripple because the bar had “strip aerobics”; a kind of exercise that looks like stripping. They say he should give the money back. Maybe Brizzi should have held his fundraiser in the Carson Center and they would have been okay. Indyu hears there’s a bar in there.
Ouch.
