Who is the idiot who decided that the Moron, er, Monon Trail should go at grade level through Broad Ripple, making not one, not two, but FIVE total street crossings?
Who is the idiot who further decided not to put any kind of pedestrian control WHATSOEVER at the Broad Ripple Avenue crossing, so that I damn near got plowed into by a moron riding about 20MPH on a bike as I crossed it this evening?
I keep wondering when someone is going to be killed there. At least up in Nora where it crosses 86th Street, they’ve had the sense to install traffic lights that give pedestrians the right of way in their turn.
