Not sure of the difference

Let me get this straight.
USA Today fires Ann Coulter for this column.
Then USA Today hires Jonah Goldberg to replace her, and publishes this column.
Goldberg may simply be less shrill (something I’ll admit Lady Ann has a problem with) but there’s nothing here that Coulter isn’t likely to have said in the same situation.
