Sorrow

Between the senseless and barbaric murders this week of young Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in that stinking hellhole known as Charlotte, NC, and one of the few figures on the right who would talk to anyone and genuinely try to find common ground, Charlie Kirk, in Salt Lake City today, I have a lot of thoughts on my mind…primarily my own barbaric thoughts of revenge, but I don’t work that way, so I’m keeping them well tamped down.

But the first music I played tonight was this.  I didn’t choose it on purpose.  It was just there and I clicked it for something to listen to.

Yeah. “One world, one soul/Time pass, the river roll.”

Pray, if that works for you. Very little else seems to be working, now.

Dear United Healthcare,

Thank you for your recent postal communication regarding the sunsetting of your coverage of a particular medical device I have used for a number of years.

In fact, thank you for all three copies you sent separately that came in the same mail today.

And thank you for the three copies you sent my wife, ditto.

By the way, this is probably part of why your premiums are through the roof.  Thankfully my employer pays them, but still, damn, son.  What a fucking waste.  Especially since I have repeatedly ticked the check boxes on your portal that say, “send that crap to us in EMAIL.”

Sincerely,

Fuzzy
