3-D printer copy protection schemes, eh?

Oh, come now.  Anyone who’s ever read George O. Smith’s Venus Equilateral (in particular the stories “Special Delivery” and “Pandora’s Millions”) knows that Pandora’s Box is already wide open and the demons (or daemons) are loose.

As it was with computer software, CDs, and DVDs, so it will be with 3-D printing templates.  Copy protection won’t be worth the trouble once the hackers get done with it.
