So far it’s broken my blog admin page, broken the centralized membership database that I use for one of the groups I’m secretary of, and has lost every cookie login I had stored in IE9.
Compatibility view “fixes” the first two issues but I’m truly annoyed about all the passwords I have to go look up now.
I don’t use Firefox because I tire of having to install a new version every time I use it (hyperbole, but not far off from the truth) and I wouldn’t have Chrome on my machine if you offered to pay me. We tend to work to IE as a standard at work, so that’s what I tend to use.
By the way, the new extremely annoying Chrome ad that I saw last night (with Beethoven’s Fifth for background) had me singing “CHROME IS JUST SHIT….CHROME IS JUST SHIT…CHROME IS A PIECE…OF…SHIT…”
My wife was not amused, but since I had cooked her steak for dinner, did not manifest her annoyance by hitting me like she usually does when I do something like that. Besides, she has it at work (they switched to Google Apps, G-d help them) and she thinks it’s a piece of shit, too.
