Yesterday afternoon, I received a very important phone call from Cleveland, Ohio (which is what prompted the previous post). I had just been elected to receive the 33rd Degree, Sovereign Grand Inspector General. and Honorary Member of the Supreme Council, 33°, of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the United States of America, next August in Washington, D.C.
(Yes. They make you wait a year.)
(And yes. It’s very, very cool.)
OK, then. Masonic Illuminati jibes in the comments in 3, 2, 1…
Congrats.
I believe it remains a great disappointment to my Dad that neither my brother nor I became Masons. We are the first non-members in either side of my family for generations.
It’s never too late; I didn’t join till I was 39. I can hook you up if you’re interested. There are some good lodges in your area.
