I wondered why the fishwarp very belatedly came out for Lugar this morning. Particularly after he was reported a couple of days ago as being 5 points behind Mourdock.
Maybe this had something to do with it.
Lugar is toast. I don’t care if he wins the primary or not. If he wins the primary, he’s toast in the general. But I suspect he’s not going to win the primary.
Their anti-Mourdoch ads were mud slinging at best. When PACs start pulling their money before an election that means they see no point in spending more.
It is past time Luger came back to Indiana. But since he has no house here, he will just stay in DC and make even more money as a lobbyist.
