Og posts about his “everyday carry” pocket knife. This is mine: A Zippo “Cut-About Junior” with a 1-3/4″ blade.
Note the Wood Badge emblem. (Took course C-28W-93. Got my beads in 1995. I used to be an Eagle.) That was originally black-enameled. Doesn’t last long in one’s pocket.
This was my Dad’s:
He stripped many a piece of Romex with that. Not to mention the other 1001 little jobs one does with a knife. [Should have noted: It’s a Browning No. 311. Made in Japan.]
I have been wanting to start carrying Dad’s Browning because the single blade on my Zippo is kind of limiting. I don’t know why I’m hesitating. I think Dad would have said, “Son, it’s just a knife; carry it and use it.”
Maybe I’ll swap them out today.

Cracking good! I like the Browning a good deal, very similar to my Uncle Henry. Good shape on the blade too.
