And speaking of “educators”

When Superintendent Eugene White abandoned Washington Township schools to go downtown and try to fix IPS, many around here were upset. I wasn’t, because in my opinion White is a poser who never saw an administrative position he didn’t want to fill or create.
I think I am vindicated today.
If Superintendent White was really interested in fixing IPS, the state wouldn’t be taking over those schools. Six years of ISTEP failures is a pretty sad record for a guy who was supposed to possess super powers of educational fixation. So what does he do? He takes his ball — well, really, his students’ ball — and goes home.
Jerk.
At least he’s figured out that suing the state to stop the takeovers is a losing strategy.
