But you’d have to give me the ad-supported one for free, not for a measly $25 less than the WiFi model.
Amazon doesn’t generally stumble like this. I’m guessing they’ll sell, but not nearly as well as their marketing people hope.

The ads only appear on the scree nsaver and bottom of the home page. I think the idea is marketing genius.
Who cares if the screen saver is an ad? I am sick at looking at ugly old Virginia Wolf anyway.
Because I hate the idea of sullying the simple interface with commercial crap.
And I really wish they’d let you use custom screen savers…or dump the author pics altogether and use only the classical illustrations.
Supposedly you can hack the screen savers but that only lasts until the next software update.
