We are enjoying our liberties (the ones we have left, anyway) down here in Naples, Florida. The lady wife is on the beach between thunderstorms and I’m lazing around doing basically nothing.
This three-day side trip (following Sally’s symposium at Sanibel) has cost us, hmm, damn near nothing. We’ve spent well under $100 on groceries and cooked our own meals at the condo since we got here, other than lunch today (which was paid for with a gift card). Tomorrow morning we’re going out to breakfast with friends but that won’t cost much.
We’ll be watching the fireworks tonight from Loudermilk Park…assuming it isn’t pouring rain.
We fly home tomorrow afternoon. Then it’s back to the grind on Tuesday.
