I’m beginning to think that the big oil companies should start hiring mercenaries, start drilling in the Gulf with great abandon, and tell the US Government to stop them if it can.
As the great Delos David Harriman was reported to have said, “If you put sheriffs around it, I’ll have goons there to toss them aside.”
Sadly, I doubt any of our great robber barons have the stones for that kind of action these days.
