Star’s slip is showing

Tam observed yesterday that the Gannett Star’s front page seems to be indistinguishible from its editorial page these days.
Well, of course…because that way they can bury the real news on page 8 — “Feds target 4 mosques” and “Suspect charged in shootings” (Jihadi, er, Major Hasan, that is).
Back in the day both of those would have vied for front page coverage.
This would be a great town to start a newspaper in.
