Why the hell not?

Well, why the hell not? Who, exactly, do you think the President is, Professor?
He’s a human being. He puts on his pants one leg at a time just like the rest of us. He’s nothing special, regardless of his supporters’ myriad and ongoing attempts to brand him the Second Coming of the Christ. And as inexperienced as he is, he’s going to need all the help he can get.
Send him the entire reading list. He’ll either heed it or not. But that’s up to him — and will redound to his credit or discredit, not to yours.
